The 55 rooms are nestled in the rainforest and linked by elevated timber boardwalks meandering through the trees and foliage. The rooms are private, spacious and have the best views of any resort in Australia.

All rooms are beautifully furnished in a modern, tropical style and are cooled with air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Each room has been designed to make the most of the magnificent views.

The facilities include colour television with cable channels, phone, mini bar, tea and coffee making and ironing facilities.

Getting Here and Transfers

Mission Beach is almost half way between Townsville and Cairns in tropical North Queensland - just 1.5 hours easy drive south of Cairns and 2.5 hours north of Townsville.

Both cities have airports and are linked by the main north south rail line as well as Highway 1 which passes a mere 25kms to the west of Mission Beach.

Connecting coaches run from Cairns into Mission Beach three times a day.

Alternatively, you can take a scheduled flight into Dunk Island with water taxi transfers to Mission Beach.

Mission Beach/Dunk Island Connections Coach Lines departs Cairns Airport and surrounding hotels at intervals throughout the day, and will deliver right to our front door. All coaches are air-conditioned.
